General Guidelines:

  • Submission Deadline: Nominations must be submitted by October 17, 2025, at 11:59 PM.
  • Entry Limit: You may submit a maximum of three (3) entries per category per Firm/Company.
  • Production Date: All work must have been created within the last two years and not previously submitted for any past Golden Gavel Awards to qualify.
  • Representation Requirement: A representative must be present at the ceremony.
  • Usage Acknowledgment: Submission of entries acknowledges the right of the A-List to use them for publication, exhibition, and marketing of the Golden Gavel Awards competition and show.
  • Production Date: All work must have been produced within the last two years to qualify.
  • Creative Qualification: To qualify as new creative, the copy must be completely different from any previous ads. Changing minor details does not constitute new creative.
  • Submission Format: Entries must be submitted using the form below.
  • Public Accessibility: Submitted materials should not contain confidential or proprietary information. All submitted materials may be accessible to the public during judging and after the awards ceremony.
  • Promotional Usage: By submitting an entry, entrants agree that winning entries may be used by the A-List for promotional purposes related to future Golden Gavel Awards or similar events.
  • Category Eligibility: Categories with fewer than 8 unique firm/agency entries will not be awarded during the awards show

Judging and Awards:

  • Award Categories: The number of awards given in each category is determined by judges based on the quality of work.
  • Award Levels:
    • Golden Gavel (Winner)
    • Honorable Mentions (Top 5 entries listed on Website)
  • Judging: Judging will follow guidelines found on the A-List website. Decisions of judges and the A-List Committee, including eligibility, qualifications, and category placements, are final.
  • Disqualification: Entries that do not comply with the rules, guidelines, or ethical standards of the Golden Gavel Awards may be disqualified at the discretion of the A-List Committee.
  • Late Submissions: Entries received after the submission deadline will not be considered.
